How to spend a rainy Friday afternoon

Ali and I decided to spend the afternoon making cards.   We opted to leave the sentiments off the cards for now since we really don't know what the cards will be used for.

The first 3 Ali made, using mostly scraps.  We used the Cricut to make the circles.

She also loves using stamps and using our Mark It markers to color with.

Ali also loves glitter and Stickles.   She used a new punch that I bought to make this butterfly. And yes, she had to put Stickles on the butterfly wings

I went to Michaels today and found this butterfly punch by EK Success. I saw it on a YouTube video and loved it.  I just found it for the first time so had to get it.  It was not that expensive with my 40% off coupon.

I really like making rosettes. This one was made with a 1 1/2 " X 12" strip of striped paper, scored every 1/4". Then I used the Martha Stewart scallop boarder punch.

This flower was cut from the CTMH Just for You stamp set.  This stamp set can also be used with their Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  This card is  6X6".  I am thinking I will have to make the envelope for it since I have never seen an envelope of that size.

My daughter Aliyah is 8 yrs old, and loves to make cards. She is always making cards to give to her Daddy and I. She loves using acrylic stamps, Mark It markers and Stickles.  She made this card today and wanted it posted.

A New Challenge

I have been watching the Mojo Monday site for some time now, and decided to try one of their challenges this week.  It was so much fun!!  This card was made mainly with scraps.
